This is a very simple blog on how to group or un-group
icons. If you are having problem on grouping or ungrouping icons just follow the

How to group icons on the Windows 10 Start Screen:
If you want,you can also group similar programs in the
Windows Start screen.
To group icons,follow instructions given below:
- Press
Windows key on the keyboard to show the Start screen
- Left-Click
on the program and drag the icon on top of another
- The
two programs are then grouped.
Similarly, you may add more program in the same group or
create separate groups based on requirement.
How to un-group icons on the Windows 10 Start
Screen:
To create a group, you simply dragged program
on top of another and it is group. However, if you grouped programs by mistake,
you will be surprised that you cannot drag the program out of the group that
easily. There are no menus other than tile resize.
To un-group, follow the instruction given
below:
- Press
Windows key on the keyboard
- Type
the name of the program you want to take out of the grouped icons.
- Once
the program is found, right-click on the program and click "Unpin
from Start".
- This
will remove the program from the group on the Start screen.
- Repeat
the process - find more applications you want to ungroup. Right-click on
the program and click "Unpin from Start".
- This
will remove the program from the group on the Start screen.
- When
the last items is also Unpinned, the empty group will also be removed from
Start Screen.
After all the programs are Unpinned from
Start Menu , the group will be destroyed. You can then group icons together by
dragging one program on top of another.

are taking up space. All you have to do is follow instruction given below.
To remove
a program icon from Windows Start screen:
- Press
Windows key on the keyboard to show the Start screen
- Right
click on the application you want to remove from the Start Menu.
- Click on
"Unpin from Start"
This will remove the icon from the Windows
Start screen making space for other icons you may want to add and display on
the Windows Start Screen. There may be some apps which you can directly
uninstall. Right-click on the program and click on Uninstall.
